Frequently Asked Questions:

  • All Alaska Mileage Plan members can redeem miles for Unlocked experiences. If you do not have a Mileage Plan account, you can create an account Here. It’s free to join our award-winning Mileage Plan program.
  • Our experiences are broken into auctions and “buy now”. For an auction, Alaska sets the opening bid (the minimum price), bidding increments, reserve price, and auction duration. Guests can bid miles during the auction duration and the highest bidder will win the experience. Bidders must have the miles in their account at time of bidding and close. All bids are final and cannot be lowered or withdrawn. Winners will be notified by email and receive next steps; please make sure to check spam. You can also view the “Bid Status” page on the Account page. If you have won, please provide any required information within 48 hours of receiving the email notification.
  • Any experience that isn’t an auction can be redeemed for a fixed number of miles. In many cases, there are limited quantities, so experiences are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive a confirmation email after redeeming miles for an experience.
  • Yes, you can buy miles here. Please note that it may take 24-48 hours before these miles can be used on Mileage Plan Unlocked.
  • All redemptions are final unless otherwise noted. Miles will be removed from your account at time of purchase and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
  • After you receive a confirmation email, a member of our team and/or an Unlocked Partner will be in touch with details on how to participate in your experience. Please allow 7-10 business days for a team member and/or an Unlocked Partner to fulfill your order before reaching out to our customer service team.
